General Motors came to the idea of helping their employees to stay fit and healthy. On that plan, they included a 7-day diet that supposedly does wonders. After a while, this diet has been proved to work and more people have agreed to stay on it. There are reports of people who lost up to 20 lbs. in 7 days. The good thing about the diet is you can do with repetitions until you reach you desired weight.

Day 1: Fruits
The first day consists of only eating fruits. You can eat as much as you want. If you are feeling low or you want some sweets, try eating some watermelon, peaches or strawberries. The only fruit that should be excluded is the notorious banana.

Day 2: Vegetables
On the second day, we switch from fruits to vegetables. Same procedure here, you can eat as much as you want. You can eat the vegetables raw or cooked. However, you need to exclude oil from cooking.

Day 3: Fruits and vegetables
On day 3 we combine fruits and vegetables. You can consume any fruit or vegetables excluding bananas and potatoes.

Day 4: Banana and milk
Imagine the surprise; you are supposed to eat banana and milk. Well, on this day you are supposed to consume at least 8 bananas and drink 4 glasses of milk.

Day 5: Rice and tomatoes
On day 5 we are allowed to eat only rice and tomatoes. Now you can eat a bowl of rice for lunch and 8 tomatoes for the whole day. Due to increased uric acid production from eating all the tomatoes, you will need to intake more water.

Day 6: Rice and vegetables
Day 6 is similar to day 2 with the bonus of eating rice for lunch. Other than rice for lunch, you can eat any vegetables for the rest of the day.
Day 7: The grand finale
Last day of the diet consists of eating 1 cup of rice for lunch and eating vegetables for the rest of the day. You can include fruit juice which will help flush out the toxins from your body.

Throughout the whole diet, the preferred drink is water. The desired amount of drinking is 12 glasses a day. You can continue the diet until you achieve your goal or desired weight.
