How to Use Apple Cider Vinegar to Make Your Scalp and Hair Healthy

Healthy and shiny hair is desired by all. To have lustrous tresses people use many shampoos and conditioners. However some of the conditioners and shampoos may leave your hair extremely dry and can also damage the scalp. Among the many natural methods for healthy hair is the use of Apple Cider Vinegar. The scalp is one of the most important areas for hair care as the roots of the hair are located on the scalp. Apple Cider Vinegar helps in cleansing the hair and the scalp. Vinegar controls the bacterial growth and prevents clogs from forming in the hair follicles.

How to Use Apple Cider Vinegar for Scalp and hair

1.Rinse with Vinegar
You will require ¼ cup of vinegar and ¾ cup of water. Mix both of them well. You can pour this mixture into an empty spray or squeeze bottle. After you are done with shampooing, you can pour the mixture on the roots of your hair and allow it to sit for 3-5 minutes. Rinse and then proceed with applying of the conditioner. This will keep the scalp healthy

2.Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse
Mix ¼ cup of organic Apple Cider Vinegar to a cup of water and pour into an empty spray of bottle. While taking a bath apply this mixture generously all over the scalp. Massage your scalp gently and let the mixture sit for 3-5 minutes and then wash it off with warm water. Now you can apply your shampoo and rinse it.

3.Diluted Vinegar Rinse
Mix ¼ cup of white vinegar to ½ cup of water and pour the mixture into a clean spraying bottle. Spray this solution on your hair and scalp evenly. Let it sit for around 5-10 minutes and then rinse it off. This is effective for itchy, dry scalp and dandruff.

4.White Vinegar Rinse
Mix ½ cup Vinegar with 2 cups of warm water. After shampooing use this mixture to rinse your hair. Keep it on your hair for 30 minutes before rinsing.

5.Diluted Apple Cider Vinegar
Mix 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar and equal amount of water. After shampooing and conditioning, massage this mixture to the hair and scalp. Leave for 5 minutes and then rinse off.

6.Apple Cider Vinegar for Dry and Itchy Scalp
Mix 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoons of honey and 3-4 drops of soy oil or peppermint and tree tea oil. Mix all the ingredients and pour it into a microwave safe bottle. Warm it for 10 seconds, and then apply it on the hair in small parts. Tie the hair after applying the solution, after 10 minutes, rinse off with shampoo and water.
